NFL announces Pro Bowl rosters for 2023 season

The NFL announced on Wednesday the complete rosters for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, a week-long celebration of player skills featuring an exciting new format that spotlights flag football.

Quarterbacks Brock Purdy and Tua Tagovailoa were selected to their first Pro Bowl as the starting QBs for their respective conferences after impressive seasons, marking the first time the two starting QBs are first-time picks since the 1999 season when Peyton Manning and Kurt Warner were chosen.

Purdy was one of nine players picked from the NFC’s #1 seed team, San Francisco 49ers, and is joined by teammates Nick Bosa, Javon Hargrave, fullback Kyle Juszczyk, tight end George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, cornerback Charvarius Ward, Fred Warner and Trent Williams.

Eight NFL teams in total will be are sending at least five players to Orlando, where the flag football game will be played at Camping World Stadium, on February 4. The Baltimore Ravens and Dallas Cowboys have seven players each.

The NFL is the only sports league that combines voting by fans, coaches and players to determine its all-star teams. Peyton and Eli Manning will again serve as the head coaches at Camping World Stadium.
