Former Indianapolis Colts and Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is to join CBS Sports as a studio and game analyst this year, the player and the network announced Monday.

Ryan, 37, tweeted that the announcement “is not a retirement post” and that he’s “looking forward to breaking down the game this season.

The 2016 MVP winner has just completed his 15th NFL season, first with the Colts, but struggled as he could only lead the team to a 4-7-1 record as a starter. He was benched twice during the turbulent season by two different coaches before being released by the team in March.

Prior to being traded to the Colts, Ryan spent 14 seasons with the Atlanta Falcons who selected him third in the 2008 NFL Draft, and led the them to a Super Bowl appearance in 2016.

More to come.
