NFL Fantasy Football 2025: Start ‘em, Sit ‘em – Week 10

Welcome back to Fantasy Football Start ‘em, Sit ‘em – where each week we explore some of my best picks for who should be starting in fantasy managers’ lineups, and who should be sitting the week out.
The trade deadline has come and passed, the biggest blockbuster of the day being Sauce Gardner landing in Indianapolis to line up opposite Charvarius Ward. Jakobi Meyers also fulfilled his trade wishes and landed in Jacksonville, Jaelen Phillips and Jaire Alexander were traded to Philadelphia, Rashid Shaheed to Seattle, Quinnen Williams to Dallas, among other deals.
There were also inevitably some more impactful injuries during the week 9 slate, as Packers star TE Tucker Kraft will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL, Commanders QB Jayden Daniels will miss several more weeks with a dislocated elbow, Travis Hunter is on IR, and Brian Thomas Jr. suffered a low-grade high-ankle sprain. He should be able to play through it, but still worth monitoring.
What’s more, week 10 is a brutal week for byes, as fantasy managers will have to make do without Bengals WRs/Joe Flacco/Chase Brown, Cowboys WRs/Dak Prescott/Javonte Williams/Jake Ferguson, AND Patrick Mahomes/Rashee Rice/Kareem Hunt/Travis Kelce (The Titans are also on a bye, but I really hope you don’t typically start anyone on the Titans).
Per usual, let’s take a look at what we’ve got left to work with this week.
Ian’s Record: 37-32
Start ‘em
Jaxson Dart (QB, Giants) at Bears

Dart has been the top performing rookie QB by a long shot, and I don’t see his production slowing down anytime soon with fellow rookie Cam Skattebo sidelined for the rest of the year.
Dart has run into the endzone in FOUR straight weeks, and while he struggles to put up strong passing numbers, he’s proven through six starts that he can get it done with his arm and his legs. Chicago won last week in a thriller, but not before they let Joe Flacco pour 42 points on them. Dart will throw for one and run for one again this week.
Jaylen Warren (RB, Steelers) at Chargers

Warren has quietly been having a pretty consistent season, tacking more than 10 rushing attempts in each of the seven games he’s played so far and contributing to the pass game. He also notched his first two rushing touchdowns last week against the Colts, and I like the matchup this week against a weaker Chargers defense.
LA has surrendered the seventh most fantasy points to opposing RBs in the last six weeks, also giving up seven rushing touchdowns – tied for the most in that span. If Warren can continue to get 15+ touches, he’ll continue making noise as the Steelers fight for the AFC North.
Davante Adams (WR, Rams) at 49ers

Adams had his second multi-touchdown game in a row last week as he continues to cash his fantasy value with Puka Nacua battling a rib injury.
While Nacua is back and playing, the Rams are easing him back in and erring on the side of caution – meaning Adams should still see WR1 numbers in this favorable matchup. The 49ers have surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing WRs in the last five weeks, and despite the bye week 8, LA is red hot. I’m taking the Rams in this tough divisional game.
Dalton Kincaid (TE, Bills) at Dolphins

Kincaid caught all six of his targets for 101 yards and a score against the Chiefs, and this week provides a delicious matchup for him to do just that for the second week in a row.
The trade deadline only saw Miami lose one of its top pass rushers, meaning Josh Allen should find plenty of time in the pocket to gash this already poor secondary. Kincaid also went off when these teams met in week 3, and I don’t see anything changing this week.
Sit ‘em
Trevor Lawrence (QB, Jaguars) at Texans

Houston’s defense remains too stingy for Lawrence to be a confident play here, especially with the lingering injuries that threaten Jacksonville’s offense right now. Travis Hunter is already on IR, and if BTJ’s snap count ends up being limited, Houston should have no problem locking Trevor and his receivers up.
Breece Hall (RB, Jets) vs Browns

Hall erupted for two rushing touchdowns and a passing touchdown in week 8 against Cincinnati, but there are too many factors at play here for me to suggest starting him.
For one, Cleveland still has one of the best run defenses in the league (no rushing touchdowns allowed in their last three games). Additionally, it’s more than obvious that Hall is shocked and disappointed that he was not traded at the deadline, so I have to believe the flash of lightning we saw two weeks ago will be gone this week.
Jakobi Meyers (WR, Jaguars) at Texans (if he plays)

If Meyers beats the quick turnaround and ends up debuting for Jacksonville on Sunday, he’ll immediately enter a very tough matchup on the road – albeit filling a void in the slot with Travis Hunter on IR.
I can’t imagine if he plays however that he’ll see a good percentage of routes, and he’ll still be fighting with Brian Thomas Jr. for targets if HE plays – it’s a wait-and-see for me with Meyers.
Zach Ertz (TE, Commanders) vs Lions

Ertz has been shaky with the limited presence of Jayden Daniels this season, as he has yet to catch a touchdown when Marcus Mariota takes Daniels’ place. This matchup also smells like a rout against a frustrated Lions squad.
