NFL Fantasy Football 2025: Start ‘em, Sit ‘em – Week 14

Welcome back to Fantasy Football Start ‘em, Sit ‘em – where each week we explore some of my best picks for who should be starting in fantasy managers’ lineups, and who should be sitting the week out.

Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr. left their game early with a heel injury and didn’t return, Lions star WR Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered a low ankle sprain during their thanksgiving game (unlikely to miss time), Vikings RB Aaron Jones left in the third quarter with a shoulder injury, and Chargers star QB Justin Herbert broke a bone in his left hand and underwent surgery to repair it – as of now it is unknown whether or not he’ll need to miss time.

Along with some impactful injuries comes the final bye week of the season, leaving fantasy managers without Drake Maye, TreVeyon Henderson, Jaxson Dart, Bryce Young, Rico Dowdle, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle.

Per usual, let’s take a look at what we’ve got left to work with this week.

Ian’s Record: 59-45

Start ’em

Trevor Lawrence (QB, Jaguars) vs Colts

The Jags are heating up in the AFC South amid a three-game win streak, and Lawrence can cash in here back at home with Sauce Gardner out of the Colts’ secondary.

Jared Goff (QB, Lions) vs Cowboys

The Lions are frustrated after dropping both their games against the Packers, and Dan Campbell is going to exploit that frustration with big plays downfield against Dallas’ terrible secondary.

Jordan Mason (RB, Vikings) vs Commanders

With Aaron Jones likely to miss time, you can bet on Mason getting a good amount of touches against Washington’s bottom-ten run defense amid Minnesota’s QB disaster.

Christian Watson (WR, Packers) vs Bears

Count on Jordan Love to keep things going with Watson after targeting him ten times on thanksgiving. Chicago has given up the third most fantasy points to WRs in the past six weeks, and this could turn high scoring.

Harold Fannin Jr. (TE, Browns) vs Titans

He’s been Shedeur’s favorite target since becoming a starter, and he shouldn’t have much trouble against Tennessee. He can go 6-60-TD for sure.

Sit ’em

Baker Mayfield (QB, Bucs) vs Saints

Baker is probably still dealing with that shoulder injury, and this could turn into a ground-heavy attack with Bucky Irving back. New Orleans has also only surrendered two passing touchdowns in their last three games.

Kareem Hunt (RB, Chiefs) vs Texans

It’s tough to trust any Chiefs players here against Houston’s brutal defense, but with Pacheco back Hunt returns to TD-or-bust status.

Titans WRs at Browns

Cam Ward throws the ball plenty, but none of his receivers have been fantasy relevant. Especially not in Cleveland where they’ve surrendered the least fantasy points to opposing WRs in their past four games.

Colston Loveland (TE, Bears) at Packers

Loveland has quieted down significantly since week 9, and Green Bay hasn’t allowed a touchdown to a tight end in six weeks. Pass.
