offGrid NFL’s Fantasy League: Week Four Review

We’re back after another week of fantasy football in the offGrid Fantasy League.

Of course, offGrid’s senior fantasy writer Ian leads the way, despite Danny scoring the most points through four weeks. It’s tight in the middle, but Jonny’s injury issues continue to aid his slump to the bottom of the pile.

Here’s a brief recap of Week 4:

Week 4 Matchups:

Tom (Tua Lipa) 119.78 vs Jonny (Gibbs Me The Ring) 92.06

First win of the season for me as I defeated OffGrid’s main man Jonny Bisby. Luck, or some questionable team selections from Jonny, who decided to leave in Ekeler and Cooper while benching Montgomery and Moore combined with a breakout week from Pacheco helped seal the win.

Danny (Chark-nado) 150.60 vs Ian (I Write About This Stuff) 187.16

Highest scorer of the week went to Ian, with the combination of McCaffrey, Brown and the Cowboys defence giving Danny little chance of a win this week. Danny let down badly by Samuel only managed 0.60 points gave him little chance in the matchup despite the very respectable score.

Luke (BryceBryceBaby) 133.08 vs James (Egg Fried Bryce) 128.92

The Bryce Young fanboy derby (although neither player is carrying Young on the roster) ended up being the most tightly contested matchup of the week.

Despite some respectable player scores James was ultimately defeated due to an injury to Tee Higgins and Mahomes feeling the pressure paying in front of Taylor Swift (almost managed to get through the whole review without mentioning it).

Peter (Turn down the Watt) 157.04 vs Dale (Finnie23J) 107.72

A great win for the Peter this week with high scoring games from Diggs and Jackson along with a return to normal game for Chase (stats wise at least). The defeat for Dale was compounded by the fact that outside of QB not one of his starters managed a Touchdown.
