Top non-QB free agent landing spots

With the NFL free agency coming up fast, there’s so much more to be done by many teams. Derek Carr has ignited the quarterback free agency carousel by signing with the New Orleans Saints, while Lamar Jackson’s future remains up-in-air after being franchise tagged by the Baltimore Ravens.

Outside of the quarterback position, there have been many moves and there are a lot of top free agents to be signed.

Here are four star free agents and predictions of where they could end up:

Jessie Bates III to Cleveland Browns

Now it’s no secret that Jessie Bates could be leaving Cincinnati if they can’t come up with a deal. If Jessie Bates does hit the market, the Cleveland Browns could be in a prime position to attempt to sign him.

The Browns cut safety John Johnson earlier this offseason, and if they are able to sign Bates, it would fill that void very well. Deshaun Watson even spoke out saying that he would take a pay cut if the Browns could get Jessie Bates.

A deal would work well for all parties, so this is a real possibility in 2023.

Lavonte David to the Baltimore Ravens

Lavonte David has made a big name for himself after a number of successful seasons in Tampa Bay. However, it seems that he won’t return to the team in 2023.

David would be a perfect fit in Baltimore with the Ravens. His hard hitting and intense quarterback pressure would thrive in their scheme, and add another valuable piece to a prized defense.

Odell Beckham Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys

It seemed certain midway through last season that the Dallas Cowboys were going to sign the megastar Odell Beckham Jr. However, Jerry Jones was skeptical at the time given Beckham’s injury status following his ACL recovery, and talks broke down.

Odell, however, has been working continuously and looks to be back to full form. With the interest still there, we could very well see CeeDee Lamb and Odell Beckham team up in Dallas this season if Jerry Jones is willing to give him a shot.

JuJu Smith-Schuster to stay with Kansas City Chiefs

JuJu has made a name for himself wherever he has been in the NFL. Rather, it was “TikTok Boy” in Pittsburgh, and now Super Bowl champion in Kansas City. If he can keep his eyes on the prize on field, JuJu can remain a valuable asset for the Chiefs offense.

The Chiefs letting go of JuJu Smith-Schuster seems unlikely as he does produce at high levels when he is a wide receiver two, and is a great back up receiver if Mahomes cannot find Kelce.
