Allen Robinson has been traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers from the Los Angeles Rams.

The wide receiver was traded for a 2023 seventh-round pick (No. 234 overall) with the Steelers getting Robinson and a 2023 seventh-rounder (No. 251). NFL Insider Tom Pelissero initially reported on Tuesday, April 18, that the two teams were working out terms on a trade for the eight-year veteran.

Robinson has also had his contract restructured as part of the deal, with the 29-year-old receiving a $3.83 million signing bonus and a base salary of $1.16 million in 2023, with the Rams paying $10 million total to Robinson.

The former Penn State wideout has recorded 749 yards and four receiving touchdowns between 2021 and 2022, a far cry from his two 1,100+ receiving-yard seasons in 2019 and 2020 with the Chicago Bears.

Drafted in the 2nd round at number 61 overall, Robinson enjoyed success at the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Chicago Bears before his single season with the Rams.

Robinson will be a welcome addition of experience to an offence that is entering its second year with Kenny Pickett under centre and will add another weapon to the receiver room that already has Diontae Johnson and George Pickens to call upon.
