And then there were four.

On the AFC side, we have what will be the fourth playoff meeting between two of the AFC’s best – of which the reigning champs hold a 3-0 record in that series.

On the NFC side, the Commanders continue to prove everyone wrong as Jayden Daniels becomes only the sixth rookie QB in NFL history to start in a championship game.

There should be no shortage of action on Sunday. A Chiefs-Bills matchup in the playoffs is a game all NFL fans come together to watch, and the Commanders-Eagles matchup could very easily be the spark of a divisional rivalry that will be must-see television for a long, long time.

Let’s get into it.

(6) Washington Commanders at (2) Philadelphia Eagles – Sunday, 1/26 3:00 PM EST

Going into the divisional round, Detroit remained one of the betting favorites to win it all and secure their first Super Bowl in franchise history. A statement win in the regular season finale and a week of rest had them in the perfect position to steamroll to the big game – but obviously, that’s not how things turned out.

Five turnovers for Detroit helped Daniels and the Commanders pull ahead and not look back, putting up 45 points (28 in the second quarter) with a pick six, a 58 yard score, and four touchdowns in the red zone. In what was a perfect drawn-up game from HC Dan Quinn and a near perfect performance from his rookie QB, Washington is buzzing to go into Philadelphia and continue proving doubters wrong.

However, the acquisition of Vic Fangio this past offseason has worked wonders for the Eagles’ defense, transitioning from one of the worst secondaries last year to second in points per game allowed this season.

I find it hard to believe Philadelphia will surrender nearly as many turnovers as Detroit did, and Daniels will certainly have his hands full against a much more talented secondary. Philly made easy work of Jordan Love and the Packers, and Saquon Barkley has been running over everyone all post-season. Since the start of the playoffs, the Commanders have surrendered the most fantasy points to opposing RBs, and they’re up against the best of the best this Sunday.

All in all, I see the Eagles playing a much cleaner game in a high-scoring bout that may prove too much for Daniels to handle this time. But he’ll be back.

Score Prediction: Eagles 41, Commanders 33

(2) Buffalo Bills at (1) Kansas City Chiefs – Sunday, 1/26 6:30 PM EST

For the past 5-6 years, you’re not going to get a playoff matchup better than this one. Every time these teams play – regular season (which we’ve already seen this year) and playoffs – it is absolute cinema every single time. And if you ask me, we’ve got the most exciting matchup between these two to date this Sunday.

For the Bills, all signs seem to be pointing towards this is the year they finally do it. We all know what happened the last three times Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes faced each other in the playoffs, but Buffalo walloped the Broncos, proved a lot of people wrong by beating Baltimore in the divisional round, and already handed the Chiefs their first loss of the season in a two-score victory earlier this year.

On the other hand, we can’t forget that this is the Kansas City Chiefs we’re talking about – and that despite any woes or adversity they face during the regular season, the playoffs are where they’re almost unbeatable. Against the Bills in the playoffs specifically, Mahomes has a passer rating of 126.6, 918 passing yards, 8 touchdowns, and ZERO interceptions in three games played.

The tandem of Mahomes and Travis Kelce becomes nearly impossible to stop during the playoffs as well, as Kelce just torched the Texans for 117 yards and a touchdown last week. Although the Bills were able to keep him in check when they met during the regular season, stopping him again will be one of the biggest keys to Buffalo finally getting over this hurdle and into the Super Bowl.

It seems the whole world is rooting for the Bills to stop the three-peat, but as I’ve been saying all season – the Chiefs always, ALWAYS, find a way. Sorry, Bills fans.

Score Prediction: Chiefs 27, Bills 24
