NFL Betting tips: Bills and Buccaneers both in need of a TNF victory

The Buffalo Bills host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Bills Stadium to kick off Week 8, as both teams are looking to bounce back with a big win after defeats last time out. Buffalo will be looking to get their fifth win of the season, while the Buccaneers are aiming to go above 500 before the night’s end.

The Bills have had an up-and-down start to 2023. With a record of 4-3 they are in decent shape to kick on, but have produced a mixed bag of performances and are now plagued by injuries. Nonetheless, quarterback Josh Allen has been as good as ever and looks to be one of the best quarterbacks in the league today. He has thrown for over 1,800 yards and 15 touchdowns, but ball security has again been an issue, having thrown seven interceptions in as many games. 

Their ability to run the football has been a massive improvement for this Buffalo team. Running back James Cook has broken out and played a big role in this, having run for over 400 yards and a touchdown this season. Of course, you must mention the receivers Stefon Diggs and Gabriel Davis, who are both still incredibly dangerous in the air. On the defensive side of the ball, Buffalo have been solid, as they have only given up an average of 16.85 points per game.

Tampa Bay have been a bit of a surprise package so far, and have been far better than many people have predicted this season. The team are playing well with Baker Mayfield as a quarterback, who has had a decent amount of production, with over 1,300 passing yards and eight touchdowns going into tonight’s game.

Mike Evans is arguably the best playmaker for the team and has produced over 400 receiving yards and four touchdowns off 30 receptions, while the Buccaneers’ defence has been okay, as they have given up an average of 17.3 points per game.
