Roquan Smith requests a trade from the Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears star linebacker Roquan Smith,has requested a trade from the franchise.

In a written statement on August 9, Smith stated that the “new front office regime doesn’t value me here,” asking to leave Chicago as soon as possible.

Since being drafted by the Chicago Bears at eighth overall pick during the 2018 NFL draft, Roquan has racked up an impressive 524 tackles, 17 pass deflections, 14 sacks, & 5 interceptions during his NFL career. All with the Chicago franchise.

Roquan Smith has consistently been a star player for the Chicago Bears. They are lucky to have him, as Roquan has been 2× second-team All-Pro for the past two NFL seasons. It will be very interesting to see what the Chicago Bears plan to do going forward with this request at play.
