With the 2025 NFL Draft set for the end of April, the buzz around the NFL and this year’s class is reaching a fever pitch.

With free agency well in the past and the pre-draft process nearing a conclusion, we’re starting to get a clearer sense of who will be the guys going early this year. Despite a relative lack of hype around the quarterbacks available, it’s another stacked class with plenty of explosive playmakers, dominant defenders, and versatile standouts, promising teams a chance to snag franchise-changers.

Here’s our countdown of the top 10 prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft:

10. Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

Kicking off the list is Malaki Starks, a versatile safety with elite range and instincts. At 6’1” and 205 pounds, the Georgia star can cover the deep middle or deliver crushing hits near the line. His mix of coverage skills and physicality offers a high floor and the potential to become a defensive playmaker in the NFL.

9. Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

Will Johnson is a technically proficient cornerback with the size (6’2”, 202 pounds) and physicality to handle NFL receivers. The Michigan standout shines in press-man coverage and has a knack for disrupting passes, despite a 2024 turf-toe injury cutting into his tape.

He’s a reliable pick for teams needing a starting outside corner, and should be a lock to go fairly early.

8. Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

“T-Mac” McMillan is a towering receiver at 6’5” and 210 pounds, with the hands and route-running to dominate. The Arizona star thrives in the intermediate game and red zone, leveraging his frame to outmuscle defenders.

While not the fastest, his consistency makes him a prime target for any offense.

7. James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

James Pearce Jr. steps in as a twitched-up edge rusher with game-wrecking potential. At 6’5” and 242 pounds, the Tennessee standout blends length, speed, and bend to terrorize quarterbacks. While he’s still refining his run defense, his pass-rush upside could see him soar into the top picks of this draft

6. Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

Warren emerges as the premier tight end in this class, a 6’6”, 260-pound mismatch machine. The Penn State product combines size, soft hands, and surprising agility, making him a threat as both a receiver and blocker.

His ability to attack the seam and dominate in the red zone marks him as an earlier target for many.

5. Will Campbell, OT, LSU

Will Campbell is the draft’s most refined offensive lineman, a three-year starter at left tackle for LSU. At 6’6” and 320 pounds, he boasts quick feet, strong hands, and technical savvy, excelling in pass protection and run blocking. Whether at tackle or guard, his plug-and-play ability ensures a high selection.

4. Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

Mason Graham is a pocket-collapsing force on the interior defensive line, blending power and agility at 6’3” and 320 pounds. The Michigan star’s violent hands and quickness allow him to dominate against the run and pass. His high floor and All-Pro ceiling make him a top-10 lock for defensive-minded teams.

3. Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

The most hyped-about running back talent pre-draft since Saquon Barkley, Jeanty stands above this loaded class with his exceptional balance, vision, and burst. The 5’9”, 215-pound Boise State star is a three-down threat, breaking tackles and catching passes with ease.

Drawing comparisons to so many stars past and present, he’s a first-round lock in a league now looking to value those elite backs.

2. Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

Abdul Carter is the draft’s top edge rusher, a 6’3”, 250-pound menace with speed, power, and a relentless motor. The Penn State standout’s quick first step and evolving pass-rush moves evoke Micah Parsons, promising double-digit sacks in the NFL. He’s a near-certain top-10 pick with superstar potential.

1. Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado

At the top sits a genuinely generational talent in Travis Hunter, a two-way player who could star at wide receiver or cornerback. At 6’1” and 185 pounds, his elite athleticism, ball skills, and football IQ dazzle on both sides of the ball.

Whether locking down receivers or making acrobatic catches, Hunter’s versatility makes him the best player available. Given the Titans’ quarterback need, he’s unlikely to first overall, but certainly won’t be too far behind.
