Top needs for every team in the 2023 NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is almost here. One of the most exciting times in the NFL calendar as young men out of college get the opportunity of a lifetime to play in the league and fans get to see the future stars walk.

All teams have their needs entering the draft and the way to fix them is by drafting players. So this got me to brainstorm what the top three team needs are for each team.

Chicago Bears

#1 DE/EDGE

Bears definitely need pass rushing help since they traded Robert Quinn last season. It is a great point to help improve the defense and while they invested in it via free agency, why not also invest in a draft pick to strengthen it.

#2 OT

The Bears need to give Justin Fields as much protection as they can. Tackles is definitely a great place to start and while Teven Jenkins is great, having two good tackles is a great thing for any offensive line.

#3 WR

Wide receiver would have taken the Top spot, but since they acquired DJ Moore via trade I lowered It to the #1 need to a Top 3 need. Excluding DJ Moore and maybe you can throw in Darnell Mooney the Bears don’t have great receivers. The Bears should support Fields by giving him more receivers to throw the ball too.

Houston Texans

#1  QB

I mean, duhhh. The Texans need to find their franchise QB of the future and since they have the 2nd overall pick they should take the next best QB available. Davis Millis is decent, but is more of a better option as a backup. Case Keenum is a veteran, but is not a great option at QB either.

#2 DE/EDGE

The Texans definitely could use a pass rusher and no joke I could not name one pass rusher on  the team currently not named Jerry Hughes. Even with Jerry Hughes he is turning 35 in August and won’t be a part of the team for the future. So the Texans got to get a pass rusher in this draft.

#3 WR

The Texans did sign receivers during the offseason, but they could definitely use more depth on the roster. Also surrounding your new young franchise QB with as many receivers as you can is a great idea. Along with getting a potential number 1 receiver which the Texans clearly don’t have right now.

Arizona Cardinals

#1 DE/EDGE

I have for many years been listing this position as a need for the Cardinals to fix. Even when Chandler Jones and JJ Watt were here, I was perplexed that the Cardinals did not fix the pass rushing and it is far too late. Until now as they are rebuilding and a great place to start is at DE/EDGE.

#2 CB

Excluding Budda Baker, name me a good secondary player on this defense… Exactly, you can’t. Now Budda Baker is a safety and did request a trade, but I am not confident that he will be traded during the deadline.

It is possible, but even if he is traded, their cornerback core is absolutely terrible and they need to improve it in the draft.

#3 OG

Arizona’s offensive line is absolutely terrible. Guard is a much bigger need then tackle. Will Hernandez was their best guard last season and he was not great last season. If the Cardinals want Kyler Murray to work as the QB and fix the running game, but then they have to protect him by solidifying the O-Line.

Indianapolis Colts

#1 QB

Well the Colts need a QB and have not found their long term franchise QB since Andrew Luck. The Rivers, Ryan, Wentz saga did not go to plan so now it is time to utilize a 1st on a QB. I doubt that it is Gardner Minshew and the Colts can utilize the 4th overall pick to select their QB of the future.

#2 OG

Quinton Nelson is still a great guard, but he showed signs of regression last season. It might be time to find his replacement if his regression continues. If not they still need another guard as they will be an upgrade to either Will Fries and Danny Pinter

#3 WR

Excluding Michael Pitman, do the Colts really have a great receiver? Alec Pierce was mediocre, but had more bad than good moments last season. They signed Isaiah McKenzie was a disappointment for the bills, but he is more of a gamble. The Colts have to get more receivers to surround whoever their starting QB will be Week One.

Denver Broncos

#1 OG

Many probably are going to disagree with me, but I don’t think QB is the biggest need for Denver as they desperately need to fix the offensive line as it was terrible. Russell Wilson may not be what he was, but with a better o-line he should do a lot better.

The Broncos already have two tackles in Garrett Boles and Mike McGlinchey. They signed Ben Powers as well too. They just need one more guard and the Broncos really have something on the O-Line.

#2 DE/EDGE

While the Broncos did bring in Zach Allen in Free Agency, they definitely could use an upgrade at Pass rusher. Especially when they traded Bradley Chubb during the trade deadline last season, it left a big weakness that I don’t think the Broncos have fixed yet.

#3 TE

The Broncos definitely could use an upgrade at Tight End. I am an Albert Okwuegbunam guy, but it seemed like they gave up on him last season. Chris Manhertz is a great player as well, but he is more of a blocking tight end. Greg Dulcich is a solid option, but with how rich of a tight end class it is the Broncos would be foolish to pass on one in the mid round of this draft.

Los Angeles Rams

#1 OT

The Los Angeles Rams offensive line has not been the same since Andrew Whitworth announced his retirement. The Rams have to get a blindside tackle to help protect their quarterback as blindside tackle is the most important position on offense not called quarterback.

#2 CB

With Jalen Ramsey departing the team, the Rams have to get a replacement for him. Now due to being in cap hell they could not add via free agency, but the Rams can add via the draft.

#3 QB
Yes, I know Matthew Stafford is returning this season, but with his constant back issues he is not going to be here long term. The Rams definitely have to draft a QB for the future as Stafford won’t be here long term.

Las Vegas Raiders

#1 CB

Honest question, have the Raiders ever really had a great cornerback on this squad? I legit can’t remember a great cornerback this team has had since maybe Sean Smith in 2017. I mean maybe Nate Hobbs as he showed promise, but he has not been great. The Raiders maybe will find luck at cornerback in this draft class.

#2 OG

While the Raiders are trying to copycat the Patriots by signing QB Jimmy Garoppolo, it is a good idea to protect him. They got two solid tackles, but they really need to improve at Guard. It also could help their running game as well which was not that great last season.

#3 QB

Look I like Jimmy Garoppolo, but his durability issues are a big concern both short term and long term. It might be best for the Raiders to draft a QB and have him sit behind both Jimmy G and Brian Hoyer.

Atlanta Falcons

#1 DE/EDGE

I like the Bud Dupree and Calais Campbell additions to the squad as both are on one year deals. Problem is Dupree is 30 and Campbell is 36 years old. Both also showed signs of decline, especially Bud Dupree. The Falcons are still rebuilding and both are not going to be on this team long term. It is best to find their pass rushing core for the future.

#2 WR

I don’t understand why many are not stressing wide receivers as a tremendous need for the Falcons. Excluding Drake London, their wide receiver core is horrendous. If I am the Falcons, you definitely need to surround Ridder or Heinicke with weapons to throw to. Speaking of which…

#3 QB

It looks like the Falcons are willing to enter the season with Taylor Heinicke and Desmond Ridder at QB, but are they really franchise QB’s for the long term though. I am not so sure about that, so Quarterback has to go on the list.

Carolina Panthers

#1 QB

Obvious need for Carolina is at QB. I mean lets be real the Panthers have not had a great QB since Cam Newton’s 1st stint. Not his 2nd stint with the Panthers as his arm strength was all gone and Newton declined so much. The Teddy Bridgewater, PJ Walker, Baker Mayfield, and Sam Darnold experiments did not go to plan, so the next opportunity is through the draft. That is why they traded up and they will choose their franchise QB with that pick.

#2 WR

I did not hate Carolina trading up to 1st Overall. That is not my biggest criticism with that trade. My issue was attaching WR DJ Moore to that deal as he legit was the only good receiver on the team. They did bring in Adam Thielen and DJ Chark, but both have declined and are past their prime. Laviska Shenault has been inconsistent and Terrace Marshall is terrible. The Panthers need to draft a wide receiver to surround whoever the quarterback is.

#3 DE/EDGE

I debated putting guard here as the Panthers could use an upgrade at guard, but I can’t ignore the defense. The Panthers have to give Brian Burns another pass rusher to work with. Even then Burns’ name was mentioned on the trading block and I can’t say with confidence Burns will be a Panther long term. Anderson is a nice veteran piece, but he has not been great since he left the New York Jets.

New Orleans Saints

#1  DT

Their best defensive tackles are Nathan Shepherd and  Khalen Sanders who both were mainly used as a rotational player. Yeah I think the Saints could definitely use a draft pick on a defensive tackle.

#2 DE/EDGE

Saints need pass rushing help. Cameron Jordan is turning 34 in July and is not going to be the future on this team and the Saints really don’t have much behind him.  They tried with Payton Turner, but he stinks and I still don’t understand why the Saints reached on him during the 2021 NFL Draft. The Saints should try again drafting a pass rusher in this draft.

#3 WR

The Saints have an excellent young wide receiver already in Chris Olave. Michael Thomas has not been able to stay healthy and I have given up on Tre’Quan Smith being a good receiver. With Signing Derek Carr the Saints see themselves as contenders and if they want to win the division and make playoffs, they have to surround Carr with more weapons.

Tennessee Titans

#1 QB

Ryan Tannehill has had durability issues and even when healthy he has not been great either. It looks like the organization also lost confidence in Malik Willis, who was terrible in his rookie season. He was so raw as a prospect and I don’t see him improving to become the long term option. If Tennessee wants to compete or kickstart their rebuild, then they have to look at improving the QB position.

#2 WR

Let’s be real, former GM Jon Robinson lost his job the moment AJ Brown got traded. The Titans lost their number 1 receiver and have not recovered. They even lost Robert Woods as well in free agency and they could use another receiver on their team.

#3 C

Due to the Titans blowing it up, they had to part ways with Ben Jones who was a very good center for the team. While they managed to bring back Corey Levin, they could get a better option at center.

Cleveland Browns

#1 DE/EDGE

Yes the Browns have Myles Garrett on the team, but besides him they really don’t have much. They did sign Ogbonna Okoronkwo who had a career year, but he fits more in a rotational role. If they can get another great pass rusher to pair with Myles Garrret, then the pass rushing would make this defense terrifying.

#2 CB

Excluding Denzel Ward the Browns don’t have a great cornerback on this team. I mean Newsome still has promise, but there have been rumors that a trade was requested by him or that he was mentioned on the trade market.

Besides those two the Browns don’t have a great cornerback on the team and with a deep draft on corners, it would be a great idea to take one in the mid round of the draft.

#3 RB

Running back is definitely going on the ist. Especially as they have not as of now brought back Kareem Hunt and the Browns were close to parting ways with Nick Chubb this season as well. When looking at who is behind Chubb there is not a lot of great options. It is best insurance wise to draft a running back in this draft.

New York Jets

#1 OT

The Jets need to ensure they can have two durable tackles to block for whoever the QB will be. George Fant to me did good, but with how many times he was switched from left to right tackle he kind of regressed. To me Fant fits better as a right tackle.

I loved Mekhi Becton when he came into the draft, but due to durability issues he has not been able to stay on the field.

#2 DT

Even with Quinnen Williams on the team the Jets lost a lot of depth at defensive tackle. While they did sign Quinton Jefferson, the Jets could definitely add more at this position.

#3 LB

Excluding CJ Mosley and Quincy Williams their linebacker core is trash. If both go down due to injury (Especially Mosley as he has always had durability issues) then this defense is in trouble. If I am the Jets you need to use a draft pick at linebacker.

New England Patriots

#1 DE/EDGE

Excluding Matthew Judon, do the Patriots really have a great pass rusher on this team? I mean Josh Uche finally impressed, but he is more of a linebacker. They really don’t and if they want to improve this defense, then they have to improve their pass rushing core.

#2 CB

I debated putting safety here as Devin McCourty announced his retirement, however looking at it with a closer eye, Cornerback is a bigger need as the Patriots have solid safeties. When looking at the cornerback crew excluding Jonathan Jones and maybe Jack Jones, they definitely could use depth/upgrade at that position.

#3 WR

I have no idea what the Patriots are doing with Mac Jones, but no matter who the QB is they have to surround him with weapons. While they did overpay for JuJu Smith-Schuster, they have to give Jones more to work with.

Green Bay Packers

#1 WR

Excluding Christian Watson and maybe Romeo Doubs who showed flashes, the Packers receiver core is dreadful. If they want to make Jordan Love work as the franchise QB, then they have to invest in getting him receivers that he can throw too. If they do nothing and stick with Watson, then they are an injury away from being a disaster.

#2 TE

Who is the current Packer starting tight end right now, with both Rob Tonyan and Marcedes Lewis tested free agency? Josiah Deguara, the alternative on the roster, has not impressed during his three years with the Packers, so they could use an upgrade and luckily this is a TE rich draft class.

#3 OT

Jordan Love needs to get more protection as their offensive line in Green Bay is a mess. David Bakhtiari has only played 24 of his last 49 games with the Packers. Along with Bakhtiari turning 32 in September he is likely going to be declining soon. Even if Bakhtiari does not decline they definitely need another tackle as well.

Washington Commanders

#1 CB

The Commanders secondary was awful last season and especially at cornerback. It was a tremendous weakness that got exposed last season and the only good corner they have now is Kendall Fuller. They have to draft a cornerback this season and if they don’t then I will be very perplexed.

#2 LB

Linebacker has to go on the list as that was a clear weakness for the Commanders last season. Now I was not a tremendously big fan of Jamin Davis, but he was not great last season. He got better from his rookie season, but has still struggled with Washington. Plus they could use a replacement to Cole Holcomb.

#3 TE

Logan Thomas is a solid tight end to have, but I am concerned with his knee injury. Plus he is turning 32 in July and is past his prime. Besides Thomas the Commanders don’t have much behind him. In a TE rich class, the Commanders would be smart to invest a draft pick on one of them.

Pittsburgh Steelers

#1 OT

Can Pittsburgh please get themselves an offensive tackle? They have not had a great one since Alejandro Villanueva got cut and it is a position this team has largely ignored for the past few years. Chukwuma Okorafor is one of the more overrated tackles in the NFL and if the Steelers want Kenny Pickett to work, then they have to protect him starting at guard.

#2 LB

The linebacker core in Pittsburgh is a trainwreck. They signed Cole Holcomb and Elandon Roberts, but both are not great options at linebacker. The Steelers would make a mistake not drafting a linebacker in this draft even if it is a weak class.

#3 CB

Excluding S Minkah Fitzpatrick, this secondary isn’t looking great. Especially as they lost Cam Sutton in free agency to the Lions. They added by signing Patrick Peterson, but he is past his prime and the Steelers need to focus on the future. Watch, this team is going to draft Joey Porter Jr. as it is the typical “Steelers Way” pick for the organization, which to be honest I would not mind.

Detroit Lions

#1 CB

In a season where the Lions showed a ton of promise, their secondary was a tremendous weakness. They made some signings in free agency, but I don’t think it was enough and they need more pieces to improve the cornerback if they want to make the playoffs. It also is a sign that cornerback is a need when they made the move to trade Jeff Okudah where the 2023 NFL Draft is a deep one for corners.

#2 TE

I am still stunned that the Lions made the move to trade TE T.J. Hockenson and especially in division to the Minnesota Vikings. Brock Wright and James Mitchell did not impress and I really don’t see them as a true number one tight end. In a TE rich class the Lions would be fools to pass drafting a tight end in this class.

#3 WR

Has to go on the list as three of their wide receivers were inducted to the Pete Rose Betting Association for violating the NFL Gambling Policy. The big loss was to Jamison Williams who was suspended for 6 games. While they still have Marvin Jones and Amon-Ra St. Brown on the team, the Lions could use receivers to replace the players who are suspended for violating the Gambling policy.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

#1 The Entire Offensive Line

Gosh I really don’t know where to choose as this offensive line last season was a trainwreck excluding Tristan Wirfs. The centers were derailed with injuries and who knows if they will be 100%. They lost Donavan Smith and could use a replacement at tackle. At guard Luke Goedeke was terrible and they lost Shaq Mason as well. Guard is the biggest need, but their entire o-line needs help.

#2 QB

Well with Tom Brady retired the Buccaneers could use a QB. Now yes I know the Buccaneers signed Baker Mayfield, but he has never been the same since he suffered that shoulder injury when he was a Cleveland Brown a few years ago. I was never a Kyler Trask guy and I don’t think he is a good QB either. Tampa needs to find their QB for the future.

#3 CB

With Sean Murphy-Bunting leaving for the Titans, it might be best to find his replacement in the draft since they blew up the entire team with Brady’s retirement.

Seattle Seahawks

#1 DE/EDGE

The Seahawks may have shocked everybody with how they made their playoffs, but their pass rushing core was awful last season. With the Seahawks given a blessing of a Top 5 pick, they would be foolish to pass on a pass rusher with that pick.

#2 DT

Their defensive line was not good last season. They added by signing Jarran Reed, but he was not what he was in his prime. They could use an elite run stopper on this defense.

#3 C

I like what Seattle did with the offensive line, but they need an upgrade at center. Evan Brown is their starting center and he has not impressed in his career.

Miami Dolphins

#1 LB

Besides Jerome Baker, the Dolphins linebacker core is not great. They did sign David Long, but they could do better. Drafting another linebacker would really help fix a big need on defense.

#2 CB

Miami needs one more piece at Cornerback. They may have Xavier Howard and Jalen Ramsey, but despite that they really don’t have much. Noah Igbinagone seems to be a wasted first rounder, so if they get one more great cornerback then this secondary is more scary.

#3 QB

Now look, don’t come after me Dolphins fans. I get it Tua Tagovailoa is a good QB, but it concerns me that he contemplated retirement last season and with his durability issues I am not so sure he is dependable.

Now they did sign Mike White as the backup, but he as well has had durability issues. Skylar Thompson was terrible and proved he is not a franchise QB. It might be time to do Plan C and draft a QB here.

Los Angeles Chargers

#1 CB

Excluding Asante Samuel Jr, there cornerback crew did not do well. J.C. Jackson was signed to a massive extension but had a severe injury that makes that contract not look pretty. The Chargers have to get another cornerback to improve this defense.

#2 WR

Yeah wise receiver has to go on the list. Keenan Allen is not getting any younger and they could use a replacement. Also they could use depth after how the Chargers incompetently handled Mike Williams at the end of last season. Remind me why Brandon Staley is still employed as the head coach of the Chargers?

#3 RB

With Austin Ekeler requesting a trade, it is best to plan for a post Ekeler era. The Chargers don’t have a good backup as Isiah Spiller has not impressed and Joshua Kelly is terrible. Even if they manage to get Ekeler to stay, getting another good running back will help.

Baltimore Ravens

#1 WR

Yes they did sign Odell Beckham and have Rashod Bateman, but the Ravens still have little depth and talent at wide receiver. To get Lamar Jackson to be happy they need to keep surrounding him with talent to throw too.

#2 CB

Excluding Marlon Humphrey, I am not a fan of the current cornerback core for the Ravens. They have to invest in it as it was a clear weakness defensive wise for the Ravens last season.

#3 OG

I debated putting offensive tackle here, but I went with guard as that is a big weakness on the offensive line. Kevin Zeitler is 33 and will be declining soon. They could find a replacement for him and they could definitely use some depth as currently they only have three guards on the roster.

Minnesota Vikings

#1 CB

Byron Murphy is an excellent signing for the Minnesota Vikings, but besides him the Cornerback core is still very weak.

#2 WR

The one head scratching decision is that the Vikings have been silent at fixing wide receiver and replacing Adam Theilen. Justin Jefferson can’t do everything and if you want to win with Kirk Cousins (Spoiler you won’t) Then you have to surround him with weapons.

#3 S

Harrison Smith is a great Viking, but he has suffered a lot of regression. Lewis Cine was their 1st round pick last season, but he suffered a brutal injury last season. Hopefully he will be 100% next season, but the Vikings could really use help at safety.

Jacksonville Jagurs

#1 CB

The cornerback play for the Jaguars  was very poor last season. It got severely exposed against the Chargers in that playoff game, but they got lucky that the Chargers blew the lead. Remind me why Brandon Staley is still the head coach of the Chargers again? Anyways the Jags should use draft picks to fix there cornerback core.

#2 OT

The Jaguars lost Jawaan Taylor via free agency and could definitely try and find a replacement for him. I mean Walker Little is decent, but not a great tackle. With Cam Robinson now also suspended, investing in the O-Line to further protect Trevor Lawrence is a great idea.

#3 DT

Have the Jaguars ever really had a great defensive tackle since Calais Campbell? I like Folorunso Fatukasi, but he could use another defensive tackle to pair with him.

New York Giants

#1 WR

The Giants did sign players at receiver in Parris Campbell and Isaiah Hodgens, but they really need a number 1 receiver on this squad. Sterling Shepherd can’t stay healthy and WanDale Robinson to me is more of a slot receiver. They locked up Daniel Jones long term, now it is time to keep surrounding him with more receivers.

#2 RB

While the Giants did franchise tag Saquon Barkley, he has yet to sign it. Their backup running back is Matt Brieda who is  not the worst backup RB to have, but they could use an upgrade. Even if Barkley signs the tag, this need is important to have solidified just in case Barkley does not return to the team.

#3 LB

If I were to describe the Giants linebacker core last season I would have to say dreadful. I mean Micah McFadden showed promise. They signed Bobby Okereke, which was a much needed addition, but the Giants need more help and depth.

Dallas Cowboys

#1 DT

Dallas has a lot of depth at DE/EDGE, but their big weakness is at Defensive tackle. If Dallas wants to do well in the NFC and ensure they make the playoffs in a tough NFC East division, then they have to get dominant run stoppers on their defense.

#2 RB

Dallas made the move to Cut Ezekiel Elliot this offseason and Tony Pollard is coming off a brutal knee injury. With a team that wants to win now it might be best to get another running back to give Prescott another tool to work and have a dependable running back on offense while Pollard heals.

#3 TE

Losing Dalton Schultz stings as he was a pretty good tight end for the Cowboys. There starting tight end right now is Jake Ferguson who is a very mediocre tight end. They could use an upgrade at Tight End.

Buffalo Bills

#1 LB

A lot of people believe running back or wide receiver is the number one need for the Buffalo Bills. I disagree as this team desperately needs to replace Tremaine Edmunds in the draft as he was a big loss for their defense. If they don’t draft a linebacker then I will be perplexed.

#2 WR

Gabe Davis has been such a disappointment as he has just been too inconsistent. The Bills need to surround Josh Allen with more weapons and not over rely on Stefon Diggs.

#3 RB

Devin Singletary was a flop as the running back for the Bills. James Cook was decent, but they need to find someone to compliment him. Harris is fine, but he is not a great option. This team needs a big piece at running back and they could yet again draft another running back.

Cincinnati Bengals

#1 CB

The Bengals need to find a replacement for Eli Apple both on and off the field. He got heavily exposed in the playoffs and since the Bengals chose not to re-sign him, they could use an upgrade at corner.

#2 TE

They may have signed Irv Smith, but he hasn’t been able to stay healthy since entering the league. Along with losing Hayden Hurst, the Bengals could do with an upgrade. Also giving Burrow another weapon wouldn’t hurt either.

#3 RB

I have no idea what is going on with the legal situation with Joe Mixon. Suspension or no Suspension the Bengals could use a backup as Samaje Perine tested free agency. Traveon Williams is not great either, so the Bengals should draft a running back in this class.

San Francisco 49ers

#1 OT

In my opinion losing Mike McGlinchey is the 49ers biggest loss during the offseason. He was one of the best right tackles in the NFL and the 49ers did not find a great replacement for him. All they did was sign Matt Pryor who was not a great tackle last season with the Colts. If I am the 49ers you have to find McGlinchey’s replacement during the draft.

#2 CB

The 49ers lost talent at the cornerback position during the offseason as they lost both Emmanuel Mosley and Jason Verrett. If the 49ers want to make it to the Super Bowl they have to replace both in the draft.

#3 DT

Yes I know they signed Javon Hargrave to a massive contract, but the 49ers did lose a lot of depth pieces at defensive tackle. They definitely should use a few draft picks to ensure they have the depth on the defensive line to strengthen their defense.

Philadelphia Eagles

#1 S

I think their biggest need is a Safety. Their current starting safeties are Reed Blankenship who is solid and Terrell Edmunds who is the most overrated safety in the NFL Today. They definitely could use an upgrade here.

#2 RB

The Eagles lost Miles Sanders in free agency. Rashaad Penny is only useful for 4 games as he never stays healthy and Boston Scott is great, well against the Giants. Gainwell is solid, but he is more useful as a 3rd down back. Going after someone like Bijan Robinson would be a huge upgrade.

#3 DT

The Eagles should be lucky that they managed to keep Fletcher Cox as if they could not, then their defensive line would have regressed. The Eagles should prep for time without Cox as he is 32 right now.

Kansas City Chiefs

#1 OT

Not hard to see why tackle is the Chiefs number one need. They need to find a replacement for Orlando Brown Jr. and keep protecting Patrick Mahomes who is the best player in the NFL Today.

#2 CB

The Chiefs secondary is pretty solid, but excluding Trent McDuffie and L’Jarius Sneed, the Chiefs don’t have a lot of options at cornerback, but this is a cornerback rich class and the Chiefs could take advantage grabbing one or two in this draft.

#3 DE/EDGE

With the Chiefs cap crunching they has to part ways with both Frank Clark and Carlos Dunlap. George Karlaftis showed promise, but the Chiefs could use another good pass rusher on defense. Charles Omenihu has been signed, but is seen as a more of a rotational piece.
