NFL Week Ten Star Performers
There were more big shocks and some even bigger performances in Week Ten. But who were you most impressed by this week? Let’s check out of stars…
Nick Bosa
After a difficult few weeks for the Niners, Sunday’s demolition job on the Jaguars was the perfect get back game, and a large reason for their success was the dominance of the pass rush.
Chase Young did well on debut, but Nick Bosa was outstanding as ever with the additional support. He rushed the passer 27 times in the win over Jacksonville, hitting four total pressures with a pair of sacks, a hit and a hurry. He and his team are right back on track.
Devin Singletary
The Houston Texans have been exceptional in recent games and, deservedly, rookie CJ Stroud is getting the plaudits. But on Sunday against the Bengals, it was a running back who doesn’t get the headlines often who stood out.
Devin Singletary had a career day in Cincinnati, rushing for 150 yards, an 11-yard reception and his first touchdown as a Texan, in the 27-30 road trip victory. If there had been any doubts on his ability, or whether he could be the number one runner in Houston, Singletary has gone a long way to proving those doubters wrong.
Keenan Allen
The Chargers may have come up short against an outstanding Lions team, but Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen’s performances were right out of the top drawer.
Allen’s particular was sensational on Sunday, finishing with 11 catches for 175 yards and a pair of touchdowns, all while dealing with a shoulder injury during a good chunk of the second half, which makes it all the more impressive.
He’s in the prime of his career and is having the best year of his career. No doubt is one of the best receivers in the business and even at 31, Allen is going to continue at this rate for a very long time.
