What just happened?

After Aaron Rodgers went down within 4 snaps of being a NY Jet, the fans were silent. It seemed to be over for the Jets before it even started, and this had to be the biggest upset in NFL history. Zach Wilson came in and the Jets somehow got the momentum back! Jordan Whitehead led the defense in stunning fashion grabbing three interceptions and shifting the whole game.

This is the first time a NY Jet had three interceptions in a game since Ty Law in 2007. What’s even crazier was Breece Hall running all over the Bills’ defense and Garrett Wilson’s phenomenal touchdown catch, thrown by the Cougar King himself Zach Wilson.

That late touchdown would tie the game up, then they would drive down and get the game leading field goal. Tyler Bass would kick a lucky kick and it would bounce off the goal post into the field goal, and we go into OT! The Jets defense would stop the Bills offense and a miracle in NY would happen as a 62 yard punt return for a touchdown by Xavier Gipson would end the game.

The Jets fans are going to be partying tonight, what a Monday Night Game. This was an amazing Monday Night opener for sure. Zach Wilson had quite a decent game 14/21 for 140 yards, one amazing touchdown and one interception. DJ Reed stepped up too for the defense, he was making every tackle basically, definitely had to shed some light on him.
