NFL Fantasy Football 2025: Start ‘em, Sit ‘em – Week 15

Welcome back to Fantasy Football Start ‘em, Sit ‘em – where each week we explore some of my best picks for who should be starting in fantasy managers’ lineups, and who should be sitting the week out.

The biggest news from this past week is the return of 44-year-old QB Philip Rivers to Indianapolis following Daniel Jones’ torn Achilles. Commanders QB Jayden Daniels went down with an elbow injury again, TE Zach Ertz is feared to have torn his ACL, and Browns TE David Njoku left with a knee injury.

Fantasy playoffs are in full swing this week, so no more bye weeks should prove helpful as managers need all the help they can get.

Per usual, let’s take a look at what we’ve got left to work with this week.

Ian’s Record: 66-47

Start ’em

Lamar Jackson (QB, Ravens) at Bengals

Lamar and the Ravens have had a shaky year, but the Bengals are back to putting up points with Joe Burrow back and this could easily turn high scoring with Cincy’s terrible defense.

Woody Marks (RB, Texans) vs Cardinals

The Cards have given up the most fantasy points to opposing RBs in the past six weeks, and Marks should have a positive game script here as Houston should coast behind their lockdown defense.

Travis Etienne Jr. (RB, Jaguars) vs Jets

The Jets are right up there with Arizona the past six weeks, surrendering nine rushing touchdowns (ten total) in their last five games.

Davante Adams (WR, Rams) vs Lions

Detroit has been letting WRs feast recently, giving up eight receiving touchdowns in their last five with a 14.3-yard average per reception. Adams should see plenty of work while the Lions worry about Puka.

Justin Jefferson (WR, Vikings) at Cowboys

Don’t give up on him just yet – McCarthy found his footing against a terrible Washington secondary and can easily do it again against this worse Dallas secondary.

Tyler Warren (TE, Colts) at Seahawks

With all the trouble Seattle’s defense can cause downfield, I’m liking the sound of the Rivers-Warren connection in Rivers’ much anticipated return.

Sit ’em

Justin Herbert (QB, Chargers) at Chiefs

The offensive line is dropping in front of him yet again, and Jim Harbaugh should lean more on the run now that Omarion Hampton’s back. They won, but Philly held Herbert to under 150 and sacked him SEVEN times.

David Montgomery (RB, Lions) at Rams

Montgomery’s been TD or bust the last several weeks, and this game is going to be won through the air against LA’s top 3 run defense.

Colts WRs at Seahawks

It’s a wait-and-see for me – all dependent on how Rivers looks. Seattle’s secondary may be too much for him to handle in his first game back.

Xavier Worthy (WR, Chiefs) vs Chargers

Worthy hasn’t had more than four catches since week 8 – and hasn’t found the endzone since week 6. He just doesn’t get the volume that Rice or Kelce do, and it’s no good to trust him in this tough spot.
